Holiday Wishes?
I was thinking about what I wanted for Christmas and it led me to wondering what YOU ALL wanted for Christmas (or Hanukkah or?). What’s on your list? I’d also like to know what you will be doing over the holidays. Two weeks away from school is a long time for some kids. My husband and I are doing something really special this year. We are cruising down South America. I am so excited! I am hoping to learn how to attach pictures I take to my blog! I can’t wait to report back to you
Have a great holiday.

Well, since my family moved we definitely wont be doing our usual Crosslin Christmas (what I did back in Texas). We are just going to spend time with each other and my grandparents that live down here. I’m so excited to get to spend some quality time with them.
December 10th, 2008 at 6:09 pmMe, I would personally love a way to get back to my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and have Christmas there. Or, I would love to get into a good magnet high school next year
. Anyways, I suppose now I’ll move on to some material objects of my desire
.
One thing I would love to get more than anything is a iPod Nano. Thats the iPod I wanted in the first place, and I officially, as of November, have 2 shuffles. The only reason I really want the Nano is because I’d love to have an iPod with a screen. It takes awhile to memorize your playlist.
Another thing I would love is a new Sims game for my PS2. I played the other one I already have so much it doesn’t work anymore
. Also, now that we got a new computer over the summer, I’d like to get a Sims game for the PC. Just talking to my friends it seems like the PC ones have more to offer than the game console ones.
Of course, I have tons of stuff on my list but the last thing that I would just die if I didn’t get would have to be another Guitar Hero game, like Guitar Hero World Tour. I most likely won’t get it, but I at least want like Guitar Hero 2 or another guitar controller so that my friends and I can jam together
.
Well, with one of my wants being to go back to Pittsburgh, I’m sure you can infer that we’re not going there
. Nope, we’ll be staying at home doing absolutely nothing. I must say, I am jealous that you get to do something fun over the holiday, but, hey, have fun!
December 10th, 2008 at 7:21 pmEnjoy your cruise
We’re learning about South America in geography, and it has a very warm, tropical climate so pack for Las Vegas in the summer time
. Just watch around the southern tip of Argentina, its cold there because its so close to Antartica. Who knows, maybe you’ll see a penguin (lol jk! but stranger things have happened…).
Anyways, have fun
December 10th, 2008 at 8:14 pmHow cold will it be around the Horn (Tierra del Fuego)?
December 11th, 2008 at 4:19 pmWell, I forgot that our winter is their summer because their in the Southern hemisphere. So, maybe an Alaskan summertime? I’m not too sure.
December 11th, 2008 at 8:28 pmMy family be trying out snowboarding in Big Bear for New Years. It will be our first time, except for my husband. So if I come back to school with a cast, you’ll know why.
December 12th, 2008 at 11:59 amMrs. Powers: I’m so jealous of the cruise to South America! Enjoy!
Emily A.: It’s nice to hear that all of that geography knowledge is paying off!
As for me, my husband and I will be traveling back to Indiana for a week, then it’s off to Salt Lake City for New Year’s.
Hope everyone enjoys the holidays! (And the time off school!)
December 13th, 2008 at 10:25 pmMy geography knowledge in my head said thank you, Mrs. Soriano
.
anyways, anyone with a window can say that its SNOWING! in Las Vegas of all places! I just wish I could get my camera and the interned to work right so I could send pictures to all my relatives back east, they won’t believe me.
Mrs. Powers, this is the “stranger things have happened” thing definitely.Maybe you will see a penguin on your cruise!
